Over the past week or so, Abigail has really found her mouth. That means her new obsession is to grab anything she can get her hands on and stick it in her mouth. My mom got her a "Sophie" for Christmas (a giraffe toy), and it has just become Abigail's favorite. Her eyes light up when she sees it and she eagerly grabs it to stick it in her mouth. It's pretty funny. Here are a few pictures I've taken of her eager sucking...
She found her fingers first... They are now constantly in her mouth and she is leaving behind quite a bit of drool. Then she found out how much she loved Sophie...
When my mom was over the other day, she let Abigail suck on her glass... wow did she love that!
I've been giving her some teething type toys to suck on in the Bumbo while I cook, etc.
"Uh oh Mommy, my toys dropped and now I don't have anything to suck on! I can't quite reach them"
"Alright, I guess I'll just suck on my hands..."
